BIOLOGY 11 (4 credits)
In Biology 11 students will learn about diversity, ecology, biochemistry
and evolution of plants, animals and microbes.
Delivery Method: DL
BIOLOGY 12 (4 credits)
Biology 12 focuses on human biology, allowing students to develop
an interest in and an understanding of science by seeing how the
diverse body systems are integrated to maintain homeostasis. The
order of learning outcomes follows a sequence from cell structure
and simple biochemical processes to the organ systems themselves.
Delivery Method: SEM, DL
BIOLOGY 12 ONLINE (4 credits)
Biology 12 online concentrates on cellular processes and human biology. It is a challenging, fast-paced course containing a great deal of interesting and exciting information designed to prepare students for the standards and content of university-level Biology and Biochemistry. The online course is hosted entirely on the Internet, so can be easily accessed from anywhere. Students will design a schedule to maintain a good pace and successful completion. There are great animations and videos to help with the learning process.
