BIOLOGY 12 (DL)
Biology 12 online concentrates on cellular processes and human biology. It is a challenging, fast-paced course containing a great deal of interesting and exciting information designed to prepare students for the standards and content of university-level Biology and Biochemistry. The online course is hosted entirely on the Internet, so can be easily accessed from anywhere. Students will design a schedule to maintain a good pace and successful completion. There are great animations and videos to help with the learning process. The provincial exam in this course counts for 40% of the final mark.

CHEMISTRY 11 (DL)
Chemistry 11 emphasizes the application of chemistry in every day life including skills required in the workplace. The chemistry curriculum helps promote the learning of problem solving skills, creativity and lifelong learning. The chemistry curriculum promotes positive attitudes towards chemistry and scientific literacy in all students. Students are encouraged to take risks, to learn from mistakes and to meet a challenge. The provincial exam in this course counts for 40% of the final mark.

EARTH SCIENCE 11 (DL)
Earth Science is an applied science course that
introduces geology and other Earth sciences—ecology, oceanography, atmospheric science, and astronomy—with an
emphasis on relevance to British Columbia and each student’s
region and interests. The course is designed to enable
you to meet all of the outcomes listed in BC’s Earth Science
11
curriculum. It consists of 5 modules: Earth Materials, Earth History, Earth Structure, Ocean and Atmosphere, and The Sky Above Us

HISTORY 12 (DL)
The History 12 course provides an introduction to the history of the twentieth century, beginning with the treaties that ended World War I and ending with the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. The provincial exam in this course counts for 40% of the final mark.

Information Technology 12 has been designed to provide students who have completed Information Technology 11 with increased focus in the core areas of online communications, networking, programming and multimedia. Emphasis is placed on post-secondary or workplace preparation, team-based development and enterprise information services.

PRINCIPLES OF MATH 10 (DL)
This is an academic mathematics course leading to postsecondary
programs. In Principles of Math 10, students will spend time developing their understanding of symbol manipulation and of generalizations of more sophisticated mathematical concepts. .

SCIENCE 10 (DL)
In Science 10 course the skills, processes, and attitudes of
science are woven into four main areas of biology, chemistry,
physics, and earth science. At the beginning, students study
safety in science, the scientific method and the microscope.

SOCIAL STUDIES 10 (DL)
Social Studies 10 focuses on social, cultural, political, legal, economic, and environmental issues. It looks at the development of Canada from the early 1800s to the beginning of the 20th Century. The course also explores economic issues within Canada and, in particular, the province of British Columbia. The course helps to prepare students for their future as Canadian citizens and contributing members of our society.

SOCIAL STUIDES 11 (DL)
Social Studies 11 is made up of four modules and prepares students for the provincial exam. Module 1 explores the structure of Canadian government, the political spectrum, and electoral systems. Modules 2 and 3 focus on Canada's role in 20th century history, including the two World Wars, United Nations’ peacekeeping efforts, and international affairs. Module 4 addresses population, standards of living, environmental challenges, and Canada's response to global issues such as global warming and ozone layer depletion.
